The alpine hut Bonnerhütte

The hut at the Corno di Fana Dobbiaco was built in 1897 by the Alpine Club Section Bonn as a refuge hut. After 40 years of decay, it was privately renovated in 2006. During the renovation, great emphasis was placed on environmentally sustainable construction. Thus, the energy used today comes mostly from natural sources, such as water, sun, and wind. Today, Rifugio Bonner operates autonomously, meeting the needs of modern times. The hut features 4 rooms along with additional sleeping spaces. We especially focus on using local products with the shortest possible transport distances, and on serving traditional homemade dishes. Our spacious sun terrace is perfect for enjoying the breathtaking panorama of the Dolomites. Finally, the diverse range of ascents and traverses offers a varied experience for both young and old.
